Joe Powell grew up in Somervell County, and his road into this work ran through years of hauling cattle and hay across the county and then crewing for a Granbury moving outfit. Most people dread the bill at the end of a move more than the move itself. Our answer is a written flat rate, and the quote is the amount you pay. Hourly local work runs $110/hr with two movers, the truck, pads, and dollies, but most customers take a fixed figure on paper and forget the clock.
